"As we welcomed in the new year, I think everyone was looking to see what the housing market would do in 2022. After all, this time last year we were in lockdown!

Many people spent time considering where they live and their work-life balance. The good news is this has resulted in a strong start in the housing market and all of our offices have been busy since the start of the year.

Over the last couple of years, the usual ebbs & flows in the market that we normally see have not been apparent- affected by stamp duty deadlines and lockdowns, but now we can start to see that some normality is returning. This means we can look forward to a healthy market for everyone – both buyers and sellers.

A lot of our clients have been speaking to us about a lifestyle change or moving areas. We also have seen a lot of people returning to Merseyside and the Wirral from other parts of the country. This will provide us with strong market conditions throughout 2022.
