A busy Summer period has been very welcome to see the positive sales activity for 2019 continue and buck any traditional seasonal pattern. Historically home movers were expected to put plans on hold over the warmer months while holidays take priority and parents are busy with their little people. It was refreshing to see that this year, much like in 2018, saw strong sales results through July and into August.
Although the number of new buyer enquiries fell by 10%, we saw the number of sales remain consistent. A clear sign that the quality of potential buyers had increased and less time was wasted with unmotivated viewers. In many cases we generated interest from multiple buyers for the same property. As a result of such strong activity we achieved more than 97% of asking price for our vendors.
Another growing statistic is the number of vendors switching over to Bradshaw Farnham & Lea after unsuccessful attempts of marketing with other local and online agents.
